Eugenia Malinnikova comes to Stanford Mathematics from IAS/Princeton, where she was a von Neumann fellow during 2018-19.  Prior to her position at IAS, she was appointed at Norwegian University of Science and Technology from 2004-2019 as an Associate and Full Professor.

In 2018, Malinnikova was an invited speaker to ICM, Rio de Janeiro.  She won the Clay Research Award in 2017.

Malinnikova earned her PhD in 1999 from St. Petersburg State University.  Her research interests include harmonic analysis, elliptic PDE, and potential theory.

Professor Malinnikova will be teaching Math 205A (Real Analysis) and Math 272 (Topics in PDE) this fall.
