We are happy to invite our graduates and their guests to the Mathematics diploma ceremony following the University’s ceremony.

Mathematics Diploma Ceremony Information
Date and Time
Sunday, June 16, 2024
Ceremony starts at 12:30pm, reception with light refreshments to be held directly after.
Location
The ceremony will take place in the grove between Building 380 and Sequoia Hall.
The reception will take place in the outdoor space between Building 380 and Building 370.

Arrival Time
We ask that graduates and their guests head to the diploma ceremony immediately following the main ceremony in the stadium that ends around 11:30am. Please be seated at the ceremony site by 12:20pm, the ceremony will start at 12:30pm.
Seating and Ticket Information
Tickets are not required for students or their guests. Guests may wish to arrive early for best seat selection. The majority of seating is in the shade.

We kindly ask that you do not block other guests' view when taking photos during the ceremony.
Information for Graduates
Attendance
All 2023-2024 graduates must complete our RSVP webform regardless of whether you intend to participate in the diploma ceremony or not. An email with the link to the webform will be sent out via email.
Cap and Gown
You must wear a cap and gown to walk in the ceremony. You can rent or purchase regalia through the Stanford Bookstore.

Seating for Graduating Students
All graduating students will be seated alphabetically by last name and by degree. Upon arrival at the ceremony site, please look for the “RESERVED FOR GRADUATES” sign and locate the chair with your name. If you cannot find a chair with your name, find a Student Services staff member immediately.
