Intersecting Families, Product Spaces and Thresholds

I’ll aim to prove the following theorem: any symmetric intersecting family of vectors in [3]^n has size o(3^n) (in contrast to the situation in [2]^n). Along the way, I’ll aim to say something about the various objects in the title, and the interplay between them.
