Ming Hao Quek joined our department this academic year (2023-24) as a Szegö Assistant Professor. He taught MATH 245A in the Autumn, and will teach MATH 51 in the Spring
Ming completed his PhD at Brown University in 2023 right before joining Stanford. His research interests are birational geometry, specifically with a focus on questions concerned with invariants of singularities.
