Jonathan Love (Stanford)

In a talk that will be more about listening to math rather than reasoning about it, let the Riemann Zeta function tell you why a piano keyboard has twelve distinct notes, let your ears discover analytic continuation, and discover how the Riemann hypothesis is really a statement about balancing the volume levels in a musical chord.

(Note: a version of this talk was given at Kiddie in Spring 2017, and there is essentially no new content.)
