Alice Cortinovis completed her PhD at EPFL (École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne) in June 2022. Her main interests are randomized algorithms, such as stochastic trace estimation.
Alice joined our department this academic year (2022-23). This is her first position since graduating. Next year, Alice will begin her appointment as a Szegö Assistant Professor in the department.
