Math Department's 2018 Vice Provost for Graduate Education Fellowship awards announced

Congratulations go out to Stanford Mathematics graduate students Tony Feng and Laurent Cote.  Tony Feng has won the Achievement Reward for College Scientists (ARCS) and Laurent Cote has won the Stanford Graduate Fellowship in Science and Engineering.

The ARCS Scholar Fellowship recognizes outstanding students in the natural sciences and engineering who demonstrate the potential to make significant contributions to the scientific and technological strength of the nation.

The multi-year Stanford Graduate Fellowship in Science and Engineering (SGF) supports exceptional incoming and continuing doctoral students in the natural and social sciences, education, engineering, and the basic sciences in the School of Medicine. Fellows are selected each year by the Graduate Fellowships Faculty Advisory Committee, made up of faculty from many eligible departments.
