New Bohnenblust--Hille inequality: classical and quantum low degree learning (joint Applied Math/ Analysis & PDE seminar)

By proving a new result in harmonic analysis (noncommutative Bohnenblust--Hille inequality) we present a time-efficient and sample-optimal for quantum observables acting on qubits. We also consider a classical learning result for polynomials on the direct product of cyclic groups.
