In this talk I will introduce Renormalized volume as a quantity of both mathematical interest (e.g. conformal invariant) and physical interest (String Theory AdS/CFT correspondence). I will define this quantity mathematically, compute one family of examples, and maybe present a formula for variations of it.

Note: this will be an easier version of the student analysis talk from 2 weeks ago. The only background I expect is to know what a metric is
