Digital Fourier Duality and Audio Signals

Sound waves in air are (for our purposes) functions on the continuum, but we can only store finite, discrete functions on a computer. What happens to a sound when we digitize it? What information is lost? In this talk, I'll answer that question in the context of Fourier duality, with live audio demos!
